This month is full of many exciting events!
First and foremost, we would like to wish everyone a fun and safe spring break! Please don’t forget to practice Water Safety while enjoying your water activities. Here are a few helpful Water Safety tips:
- Always obey the pool rules.
- Wear life jackets as needed.
- Never swim alone, ALWAYS swim with at least one buddy.
- Protect your little ones from reaching nearby water. It is imperative to have a safety fence around pools and equip doors that lead to water with locks and alarms.
- Always have a “Water Watcher.” This is a designated person who is actively supervising swimmers. If you are the “Water Watcher,” avoid all distractions – especially cell phones – and do not leave the waterside until another Water Watcher has taken over.
We are so happy to share with you the guidelines for this month’s contest: “March Melon Madness.” If you do not have a Watermelon Swim magnet on your car just yet, we strongly encourage you to do so as soon as possible! Free magnets are available at each location’s front desk.
Each week, we will randomly select families’ cars in our parking lot, that represent their favorite swim school, Watermelon Swim. If your car is selected, you will be placed into a drawing for a chance to WIN $100 credit to your account. The best part about this contest is that there will be a winner at every location… every week! That’s right, SIXTEEN for this month’s contest! Our first drawing will be Monday, March 13th, and each Monday until April 3rd. Don’t waste any time, get those magnets on your cars!
Our Lutz location will have extended hours every Saturday, starting March 25th! We will be opened from 7:30am to 6:00pm each Saturday, with all the same class options. If you are currently on a waitlist or find that these times will work better for your schedule, we would be happy to get your swimmer scheduled. You may stop by our Lutz location or email us at lutz@watermelonswim.com to secure your spot!
Come say “Hi” to us at The Tampa Premium Outlets, 3rd Annual Egg Hunt Drive on Saturday, March 25th – you may even run into your melon friend, Slyce! This is a free event with music, prizes, and treats. You’ll drive through a trail of local businesses, so make sure to come with a basket to collect your goodies. Pro tip: If you decorate your car, you will have the chance to win a prize!
There are two great ways to refer and earn with Watermelon Swim. If you refer a friend to swim with us, you will receive $25 on your account. Make sure to let them know to give us your name at the time of registration. Likewise, if you were to refer a friend to work with Watermelon Swim, and they are hired to join Team Melon, you will receive $25 on your account.
