At Watermelon Swim, fall means one thing… Pumpkin Season! Our annual Pumpkin Patch is back, and it’s the perfect way to bring our community together, celebrate the season, and remember the importance of year-round swimming.
This year, we’re going bigger than ever with five Watermelon Swim Pumpkin Patches, one at each of our locations. From October 3rd through October 31st, stop by to pick out your perfect pumpkin and get in the fall spirit, all while supporting our mission to grow a community of safer swimmers.
Every pumpkin purchase changes lives. Proceeds from the patch directly fund scholarships in our Students with Disabilities Program, which ensures Tampa Bay children with physical and mental disabilities have access to the swimming, safety, and survival skills they need to develop a lifelong love for the water. These lessons don’t just teach strokes; they build confidence, foster independence, and can truly change lives!
Here’s where you can find us:
- Large outdoor patches at South Tampa and Lutz
- Indoor mini patches at Wesley Chapel, Riverview, and Brooksville
Each patch will feature Instagram-worthy photo ops so grab your cutest fall outfits (matching flannels encouraged!) and come make some melon-tastic memories. Admission is FREE and open to the public from 8 AM – 8 PM all month long!
H2: Mark Your Calendar for our Fall Festival!
On October 18th, our Lutz and South Tampa locations will host our annual Fall Festival from 4 PM – 7 PM. This is a free family event packed with seasonal fun, including:
- Trunk-or-treating
- Fall-themed games & prizes
- Photo ops
- Tasty treats
- Bounce houses
- Pumpkin painting
- And more!
Fall Festival is open to everyone, and it’s the perfect way to celebrate autumn while discovering all that Watermelon Swim has to offer, including why water safety matters just as much in the fall as it does in summer.
